The Aqueduct of Valens is a significant ancient Roman aqueduct in Istanbul. As part of a larger water supply system, it was completed in the late 4th century AD during the reign of the Roman Emperor Valens, after whom it is named. The structure is notable for its impressive engineering and architectural design. The aqueduct was constructed using a combination of stone and brick, and it features a series of arches that support the water channel above. Today, the aqueduct is a historical landmark in Istanbul.
